I was at your facility this past Wednesday with the WFX conference. I was amazed by the roaming cameras considering we have 2 hvx200’s. My question is how you get the feed into your switcher. I couldn’t believe you are only using a composite feed but it works. I tried it when I got back into my component input switcher and only got a b/w shot at best. Do I need a converter? How are you getting it into yours?
Our switcher is SDI. So we have Analog to Digital converters that feed our switcher for our roaming cameras and for two AUX sources. The camera feed goes into the frame and the frame then gets sync from our system and then feeds into the switcher.
When you say frame, are you referring to the analog to digital converter? I think you were on to another question I had, where is the sync coming off the camera (if anywhere on the camera)? Our switcher doesn’t like it not having sync with the rest.
Drew. Sorry it took so long to respond. Yes, when I say frame I mean the A to D converter. That is where we hook up the sync. Also, component works differently. It was probably B&W because it was missing one of the RGB colors.

I like this version of the song much better. Rather than starting out heavy like it does now, I like how song builds up toward the end part.
what are you guys using for Desaturation and effects?
